I just wanted to add some more... working on assignment 2.2.1: Library Searching. I have my articles, its just the little things that are troubling me, commas, periods etc. It's taking me more time to type in the APA format then it is to find the articles.
I've noticed that keywords and the database used makes a difference in the amount of info I find. If I just type in down syndrome, I get way too much, but using down syndrome and language or language abilities narrows it down. I get plenty of information this way.
I enjoyed the slide show on Tuesday. It wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. I think this will be a great way to get the child's view about Down Syndrome across. I'm tentatively going to put either the parent or SLP in with the child on the slide show.
I revised my question. I tried to keep it simple, but I still think it is to wordy, but I think I'm getting what I hope to discover across.
I would have edited my older journal, but I moved some stuff around, trying to organize, and I couldn't find the edit link. I guess this is an add on to the first journal.
